My first official blog

As this is my very first blog I would like to ask for patience as I attempt to learn and adapt my blog. I will be posting some photos in the future under the headlines of: family, home, heroes, and just plain awesome photos. I hope that you find my blog as mildly entertaining as I do.

And if you were wondering, Fair Winds and Following Seas is a naval blessing describing ideal sailing conditions for returning home safely. My father was in the US Navy for 20 years, and so I am a squid at heart.
